What is the inspiration behind the name Linger?

Have you ever felt completely invigorated after a great night’s sleep? There’s that moment when you wake up, feeling completely refreshed and ready to take on the day. We wanted to capture that exact moment, however brief, when you can bask in ultimate comfort and luxury, before the day’s craziness begins.

Where are your products made?

All our sheets, duvets, blankets, throws, table linens and quilts are made in India by our partners that maintain our high standards. Our towels are made in Turkey using fine organic Aegean cotton.

What does thread count mean?

Thread count is a standard measurement of the number of threads running vertically and horizontally in a square inch of fabric. While thread count is one factor that goes into the overall quality of sheets, it’s been used as a lazy marketing ploy by big box stores for far too long.

What thread count are Linger sheets?

Our sateen cotton sheet and duvet sets are woven with a 500-thread count, keeping them breathable and luxurious. Our percale sheet and duvet sets are woven with a 400-thread count for a lightweight but soft nights sleep!

Okay, so if thread count isn’t the only way to measure sheet quality, what else matters?

While creating Linger‘s sheets, we took many factors into consideration. We started with Supima cotton, an extra-long staple cotton grown exclusively in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Supima has earned its reputation as the world’s finest cotton for its softness, durability, and color fastness. The fineness of thread is another key factor in crafting the finest sheets. We chose 80 to 120 yarn count threads in our cotton bedding, which is exceptionally fine thread you wouldn’t typically find in bedding. Lastly, crafting the best sheets depends on who is making them. We’ve partnered with a global leader in luxury bedding that uses state-of-the-art equipment and sustainable manufacturing processes at its mill in India.

What is the difference between sateen, percale, and linen?

Our sateen weave is crafted with a four-yarn-over and one-yarn-under technique, which exposes more thread to the surface of the fabric. This technique creates a smooth, supple and luxurious feel with a subtle sheen. Our percale weave is crafted with a one-yarn-over and one-yarn-under technique, which creates a smooth yet crisp and cool fabric. Linen is a fiber made from flax. Linen is a naturally cooling, hypoallergenic fabric and gets even softer with use. Our linen bedding begins with flax from northern France and Belgium that is spun into a fine 60 lea yarn for ultimate softness.

How deep are your fitted sheets?

Our fitted sheets are designed with a 15-inch pocket in twin size and a 16-inch pocket in full, queen, king and California king.

Environmental Standards & Sustainability

Are your products OEKO-TEX Certified?

All of our cotton and linen sheets and duvets, organic turkish cotton towels, organic cotton throws, blankets, linen and cotton table linens are OEKO-TEX Certified. Our quilts are made in a factory that is currently undergoing OEKO-TEX certification.

How does your recycling program work?

We have partnered with Community Recycling to reduce the amount of household textiles that end up in a landfill. Community Recycling works with its partners around the globe to upcycle, repurpose, or recycle 100% of the textiles it receives.

How does your Buy One, Give One donation program work?

For every bedding set we sell, Linger will donate a set of antimicrobial bed sheets to homeless shelters and orphanages throughout India. We aim to build a global donation program over time.

Do Linger sheets wrinkle?

We like to keep things natural. We do not use any harsh chemicals to create ‘wrinkle resistance’ on our products. Our sheets may wrinkle a bit with use, but when drying your sheets, try taking them out five minutes before the cycle ends and hang them to dry. You can also give your sheets a quick iron on low heat. Visit our care page for more information.

Do I need to wash my sheets before using?

We recommend laundering our products before use, according to the care labels.


Can you provide a discount for my order?

While we occasionally offer promotions, we generally don’t believe in discounting our products. We’ve worked hard to craft excellent home linens that look and feel amazing, while minimizing our impact on the environment. By selling direct to our customers, we’ve been able to eliminate the retail mark-up and sell at a more fair price.

How do I check the status of my order?

What if a product is backordered?

We do not sell product that is not currently in stock. If a given product is on backorder, you will not be able to place an order for that product, but we can notify you when it is back in stock.

Do you have gift cards?

We do not currently offer gift cards, but we plan to introduce those in the near future.


What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Shopify Pay.

How do I apply a coupon to an order?

You may apply your coupon code at checkout in the Discount Code field or contact us for assistance.

If I entered the wrong billing address, what should I do?

Why is my credit card charged upon order placement?

We value our customers’ security and privacy! As a policy, Linger does not store any credit card information and, therefore, we must charge credit cards at the time of ordering. Orders can be cancelled before shipment or returned for a full refund.

Shipping & Deliveries

Where does Linger ship?

We ship to the United States. We do not ship to US territories.

Which shipping carrier do you use?

We use UPS and FedEx as our primary shipping carriers.

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer complimentary domestic US ground shipping on all orders.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

We offer 1-2 day shipping for an additional fee upon check out.

Can I change my shipping address once my order has been placed?

Our customer service team can typically help you change an address within 15 minutes of placing your order during business hours Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM ET. Please call (833) 254-6437 for assistance. Because we package and ship orders to be delivered as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee a change of shipping address.

Do you offer weekend deliveries?

We are working hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible! All orders will be delivered Monday through Friday, as we do not offer weekend delivery. Please note that 1- and 2-day shipments will not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

How quickly will I receive my order?

We estimate transit times of one to seven business days from the date of your order. Customers may elect to upgrade their order to 1- or 2-day shipping for an additional fee during check out. Please refer to our shipping options at checkout for details regarding your delivery.

Where is my order shipping from?

Our orders ship from our warehouse in New Jersey.


What is your return policy?

If you are unhappy with any portion of your purchase, you may return your items within 100 days of delivery. Delivery is defined as the date the shipment was marked delivered by our carrier’s tracking number. Returns are refunded in the original payment form, minus any expedited shipping and handling that may have been selected at check-out. If a discount was applied at purchase, that discount will be proportionally applied to the credit.

How do I exchange?

To exchange your return for another item, please go through our return process for a refund. You may then purchase the item of your choice at your convenience.

Do you charge for return shipping?

There is no charge for return shipping to us, provided you use our prepaid shipping label. We are unable to reimburse you for shipping charges if you do not use our return process.

Is there a restocking fee for returns?

No, there is no restocking fee.
